From the editor...
Welcome to the December issue of Suffolk Norfolk Life. Well it is that time of year again. A time to over indulge and then regret it as a new year looms and clothes seem just a bit tighter. Inside this issue Robert Leader looks at the history of the Christmas card, while Rachel Sloane uncovers the stories behind people from the region celebrating Christmas abroad, or people not from the UK celebrating Christmas in Suffolk or Norfolk.
Keeping on the Christmas theme we have some excellent gift ideas for all the family in our Christmas Gift Guide, and Rhonda Deal give some top tips for decorating your home for Christmas.
We also have the latest installment in the Family Cycling series, Susannah George visits Melford with her two doggies and Steve Roberts lists the 10 best Suffolk Priories & Abbeys. In our competition you can win a fantastic overnight stay and spa treatment at Sprowston Manor.
