This holiday festive season is all the more special for me this year because I have just launched my new Christmas Decorating service which means I get to enjoy designing and decorating my clients’ homes in time for the Christmas festivities.
I love everything about Christmas: the excitement, the fun, the colours, lights and smiles on children’s faces.
It’s the time of year when we all try to publicly out-do each other with the exuberance of our Christmas decorations. On the one hand we have the wild and wacky; on the other, understated elegance with funky fun decorations somewhere in the middle.
For those of you thinking of trimming up in time for the big day it’s time to check out that box in the loft. Oh dear, there’s the tatty tinsel and the fairy lights are on the blink – maybe you have found like me that there is a need to upgrade and renew some of those Christmas ornaments.
Luckily you can easily grab some inspiration from browsing magazines, local shops and places such as Snape Maltings or Blackthorpe Barn near Bury St Edmunds.
