Breathe life back into your old interiors with the trends for 2016…
Well here we are again: time for the Christmas tree to be banished from the house. The lights, baubles and tinsel consigned once again to the loft. And once again we are left with rooms denuded of colour and life looking downright drab and dreadful. But take heart! You can breathe life back into your old interior, and now is the best time to grab a bargain to help you on the way to the home of your dreams.
First you need to be prepared, so take a look at the space you want to decorate. Arm yourself with a notebook and note the measurements of the windows (you’re bound to find some great curtain fabrics in the sales) and doors just in case you spot that perfect new sofa. Make a note of the height of your walls floor to ceiling and make a rough sketch of your room.
Now you can get in some paint samples and wallpaper books to look through over a cup of coffee and plan your colour scheme.
