The Oaksmere – a lovely place for Afternoon Tea
Set in the green and luscious Suffolk countryside, The Oaksmere Hotel is a special place to visit. The beautiful exterior is paralleled by the interior, both full of character and intrigue. It has fourteen tastefully decorated rooms, all with unique finishing touches. With the recent refurbishment of four spacious, yet luxurious family rooms in the coach houses, it is now the perfect space for individuals, couples and families alike.
Our cutting edge development to create a hotel that champions sustainability and thrives off local produce means we serve, unbeatably, the freshest food in this area. The next project, currently under development, is our walled kitchen garden. If permission is granted for the construction of a greenhouse, we should be harvesting home grown produce by this summer and will continue to endorse all things local. We are thinking of every possible way to bring our customers the best of local food and provide them with a memorable and fantastic stay.
Our new grill and à la carte menus are proving to be very popular. The passion for local produce and our use of animals selected from adjoining fields, butchered in our own butchery, means customers are able to trust what is on their plate. We are now using our love for high quality, fresh food to create exquisite afternoon teas.
