Top interior designer Mina Hassanian has revealed her tips for bringing the best out of your home this autumn, and guides us through one of her latest design projects to explain.
“Autumn is creeping up on us, but that doesn’t have to mean our homes become dark and dreary,” said the senior interior designer of ArtSpace Interior Design, who designed the interior of the showhome at Bloor Homes, The Oaks development in Attleborough.
“I was very aware of the changing seasons when designing this showhome, which is why the creative team and I chose a palette of pale mauves, whites, soft greys and accents of gold. It’s effortlessly chic and holds warmth, even when the weather outside is not!
“Eye-catching features, like the large circular mirror in the lounge, provide a great focal point and bring the attention away from grey skies.
“And a mixture of different fabrics in beautiful soft tones, still lend a decadent look and feel to the house, while being welcoming and tactile.”
