Win an overnight stay and dinner at Tuddenham Mill

Tuddenham Mill, boutique hotel and restaurant in Suffolk, have been acclaimed by the AA and The Good Food Guide. The Mill’s restaurant, second year in a row, was awarded the AA Notable Wine List 2016 commendation and received a very high cooking score of 5 from the UK’s bestselling restaurant guide.

Each year, the AA Restaurant Guide shortlists just over 200 restaurants from thousands across the UK, whose wine lists offer excellent quality and choice. This year the judges were looking for lists that feature high quality wines and considered variety across countries, style, the best individual growers and vintages.

Tuddenham Mill’s Assistant General Manager, Paul Richardson, was pleased to be recognised for the dedication to providing guests with the finest wines around that accompany our menus perfectly and has said: “It was a magnificent pleasure to receive the AA Notable Wine List commendation for the second year. I constantly strive to improve the list, and aim to cater for all budgets and tastes, looking for top quality, value for money, and most of all, wines that are interesting and out of the ordinary. Recently, I have added some amazing wines from Eastern Europe that offer superb quality and value, some top wines from Bordeaux, and definitely not forgetting our English wines, that are forever improving. (We have a nice collection from right here in Suffolk). My aim is to let our guests experiment with confidence to taste something new, or easily find an old favourite.”

The Good Food Guide 2017 was released in September 2016. The UK’s most trusted and comprehensive restaurant handbook this year again rated Tuddenham Mill’s restaurant as one of the best eating establishments in Suffolk. The Mill was one of only two restaurants in Suffolk to be awarded a cooking score of 5, which indicates exact cooking techniques and a degree of ambition; showing balance and depth of flavour in dishes.

Tuddenham Mill is a beautifully restored historic water mill situated in between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
