8 Retail Consulting, or otherwise known as 8RC, is a newly-launched retail consultancy based in Norfolk, which has been set up by former Norwich City Football Club employee Steve Balmer-Walters. Steve, who previously worked as Head of Retail at the football club, set up the consultancy after leaving the Canaries last year. Their services are available to any business of any size looking to be more profitable.

The Aim of 8RC

Commenting on 8RC Steve said: “I talk to people all the time who are struggling with certain areas of their business, so I thought the time was right to set up a consultancy that offers help and guidance to those retailers that are looking to increase performance and profit. It is something that I have wanted to do for years, but the timing and circumstances were never right – until now!” Being a natural leader and independent thinker with a demonstrable track record of success working for high street retailers, Jaeger, Mothercare and Ecco, to name a few, Steve is excited about the future of 8RC.

Its Employees

The company has recently employed three people, who all live in Norfolk. Steve said: “As a Norfolk business, I wanted to employ people within the county. I am extremely passionate about what we are all about and what we can deliver as a team. We are retail experts and specialists who want to make businesses and their people better tomorrow than they were today.”
